This Week at the Farmer's Market

I couldn't get over the flowers at the market this week.  I usually gravitate toward symmetrical fruit and veggie displays with my camera, and there was some of that, but I just couldn't get over the flowers.  Even the kids wanted them - we picked one bouquet to bring home and Nick asked if we could get another so they could each have their own, "for when we play wedding Mommy!" 

Produce is so plentiful around here, I'm seriously thinking of skipping at least half of our vegetable plantings next year to make room for flowers.  I say it every year, but I really think I'm going to do it next year - strategic plantings just to have flowers to cut and share all summer long!
